All being well we should be able to move in on Saturday; that is if the curtains arrive. We bought a bed and cooker from some expats and then spent a morning in the back streets of Ankara and bought the rest of the furniture and white goods we would need to move in. That's what you get being married to Mark....decisiveness!! It suits me actually as I hate shopping and especially as the streets are very slippery. The weather has, however, drastically improved going from minus 11 a week ago to 3 degrees today. The snow is beginning to melt quickly now. Although difficult initially, because we are foreigners, we have a gas, electric and water connection, so after only two short weeks we will be on our own. Actually that's not quite true; we are up to our old tricks already and I think we will have a guest from Central Asia move with us for a short while. Nothing ever changes!!!
